This is note card holder I made for a friend. Inside are 8 cards. 4 are initial cards and are all the same. The other four are made with the "It's a Girl Thing" stamp set and each vary slightly.
Welcome to my blog of crafts! Many of the projects you see here are modified versions of what I have seen in other places. Also shown on my blog are some original creations that happen when my creative juices are really flowing. I hope that by viewing this blog you will get some new ideas of projects you can make. All stamp sets are from Stampin' Up!® unless otherwise noted.

A very quick and simple card.
This card was really fun for me to try. I used the Cherry Blossom Emosslit Die from Stampin Up.
Polka Dot Cards
I saw a card made with circle punches and thought it was so fun and
playful that I decided to try a few layouts myself. Below you will see what I have come up with.

This monochromatic card uses the faux linen technique and the stamp set Always. To recreate the linen technique (which shows up very faint here) you use a piece of glossy cardstock and rub sand paper over the card stock first horizontally and then vertically. Once you have created as few or as many lines as you would like you use a sponge to rub ink on the cardstock. The scratches that the sandpaper created will cause the paper to pick up the ink differently than the non-scratched surfaces and it will create a linen look to the paper.
Candy Holders
This matchbook candy holder is perfect for holding a small bag of M&Ms! YUM!
You need an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 piece of cardstock. Score the cardstock at 4 3/4"; 4 1/4"; and 1/2". Fold and crease the cardstock then decorate. I used the Itty Bitty Bits and Simply Said stamp sets.
Pocket Birthday Card
Playful Pieces
I created these cards using the Playful Pieces hostess set from Stampin' Up. The red background paper is embossed. To make the butterfly sparkle I used Stickles. The cards with the packages uses a masking technique.

Looks Like Spring Notebooks
Each of these notebooks was created with the Looks Like Spring stamp set.
The blue and yellow note pad used a clear emboss resist technique. First, I stamped blue flowers on the white card stock. Then, using white embossing power I embossed several flowers. I finished by sponging blue ink on the entire piece of card stock and then wiped off the excess ink.
Post It Note Holders
I used the Simply Circles stamp set to decorate these sticky note holders. I found the sticky notes at Target.
Floral Gift Card Holder
This gift card holder was created using the Pick a Petal stamp set, bamboo skewers. The vase was decorated with rub-ons, which adhere nicely to many surfaces.
