January Cards

I had some ribbon scraps I decided to use up. I used the Paint Prints (retired) stamp set to make this card. To make the 2-tone petals I first inked the stamp in one color. Then I used the brush end of a marker to add the darker shading.



Build a Blossom

Here are a few things I have made while playing with my new stamp set and punch "Build a Blossom".

Black Magic

I used the black magic technique (directions can be found at http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/)

and the stamp set Eastern Blooms to create this card.

Circle Card Set

I found this set of 8 circle shaped cards at Michaels' for $1.00! I added a few stamps and embellishments...here are the results.

Pink Notecard Holder

This is  note card holder I made for a friend. Inside are 8 cards. 4 are initial cards and are all the same. The other four are made with the "It's a Girl Thing" stamp set and each vary slightly.

Stamp Set: Fifth Avenue Floral
This monochromatic card was made using a white craft pad; stickles, ribbon and the scallop punches. The flower was colored in with watercolor pencils.

Other Supplies: ribbon, rhinestone brad; filigree brads
I LOVE this stamp set and play with it often. I used white embossing powerd to create the flowers.

Stamp Set: Seeing Spots
A very quick and simple card.

 

This card was really fun for me to try. I used the Cherry Blossom Emosslit Die from Stampin Up.
